She married Joe Vega and they were blessed with over 40 wonderful years together before his death in April of 2009. Yolanda and Joe loved to ride together on their Harley Davidson and travel around the country. She was full of life, she loved to sing and dance and the two of them won a dance tournament. Yolanda was an excellent cook, making homemade tortillas and enchiladas, and doing it with a smile. She was an avid sports fan and her favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. She worked in food service, but her true calling was being a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; one brother; and one sister.
