Wilma G. Gipson, age 75, of Plainview, passed away on May 24, 2018. Private family services are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home.
Wilma was born on September 7, 1942 in Grant, OK to Joel Russell Fugett and Wilma Blair (Fowler) Fugett. She married Bobby Ray Gipson on December 25, 1959, they were married for almost 54 years, until his passing on November 29, 2013. She worked for the Hale County Crisis Center. Wilma enjoyed reading and growing flowers. But, most of all, she loved her family and her grandkids.
Wilma is survived by her children, son, Bobby Gipson and wife Sandra, and daughter, Linda George and husband Mike, her brothers, Don and Jerry Fugett, her sisters, Joy Ann Lee and Lona Garret, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Gipson, her baby sister and her great grand-daughter.
