William "Forrest" Edwards, 87 of Plainview, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 18, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, March 22, 2024, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Forrest was born on October 31, 1936, in Pitchfork, New Mexico to Temple Edwards and Enid (Armstrong) Edwards

Forrest lived and was raised on the homestead in Bledsoe, Texas. He loved farming, riding his tractor, being outdoors, going hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Temple and Enid Edwards; two brothers and two sisters.

Forrest is survived by his two daughters, Brenda Bridges, and Gwen Gallardo and husband Victor all of Plainview, TX, two sons, Wayne Edwards and wife Kim of Lubbock, TX, and David Edwards and wife Donna of Levelland, TX; two brothers, Richard Edwards of Albuquerque, NM and Robert Edwards of Tyler, TX, two sisters, Tennette Arnold of Lubbock, TX, and Shirley Hancock of Levelland, TX; four grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by all, and he was loved by all who knew him.
