Willard Calvin Brymer, 86, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, November 27 2014. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Plainview Memorial Park with Pastor Ty Williams officiating. Graveside services are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Brymer was born on May 20, 1928 in Swisher County, TX. to the late Fred and Opal (Cole) Brymer. He married Pearl (Backer) on March 19, 1987 in Littlefield, TX. Mr. Brymer was an assistant manager for Higginbotham Lumber for many years. He was known for his great work of carpentry, building model trains and houses. Mr. Brymer was a very generous man, but most of all he was a devout family man. He was a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his first wife Alice Brymer, parents Fred and Opal, and two sons, Gary and Jimmy. Those left to cherish his memory are; his wife Pearl, and one sister, Mary Wanda Taylor. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
