Waneva Kaylene Pearce, age 83, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, in Lubbock. The family of Mrs. Pearce will host a visitation at 6:00pm until 8:00pm, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Lemons Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, November 17, 2023, in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Kaylene was born in Plainview, Texas on July 27, 1940, to Olin Pearce and Minnie Lee (Williams) Pearce. She graduated in 1958 from Plainview High School and continued her education at Wayland Baptist University, and finally graduating from Watson Business College in 1959.

Kaylene worked all her life in general department stores while living in Plainview and Amarillo. She doted on her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Minnie Lee Pearce.

Kaylene Is survived by her sister, Brenda Bass of Plainview, and several nieces and nephews.
