Wallace Denis Baldwin, 61 of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his residence. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Denny was born in Evreux, France on October 10, 1963, to Wallace Weldon Baldwin and Denise Lefebvre. He attended Plainview High School with the class of 1982. He married Lisa Ware in 1989 and had two sons, Ross, and Zach Baldwin.

After he became a skilled self-taught mechanic with a knack for everything automotive. He worked for many dealerships and was certified by GM and Chrysler. He also worked at some small shops in Plainview, including his brother William's Quality Body Shop. He took particular pride in his paint and body work and was known as a man who could fix anything. He also loved helping his friends and neighbors keep their cars looking and running good.

He spent the last of his years enjoying his home and freedom with his beloved dog,  Ms. Missy.

Denny was a loved son, father, and brother.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Denise Baldwin.

Denny is survived by his two sons, William Ross Baldwin, and Zach Baldwin, along with his wife Leanne Baldwin, both of Lubbock; his father Weldon Baldwin of Plainview; his brother William Baldwin and wife Cristie of Plainview. His sister, Cristine Shores and her children Jake and Baillie Shores of Amarillo; his best friend Lee Trevino
and his two granddaughters, Ayana May and Zelda June Baldwin.

A small private family ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
