Victoria G. Valadez, 96 of Hart, Texas, passed away on November 25, 2021. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 3, 2021, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Hart, Texas with Father Raj Malapady officiating. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Victoria was born on November 3, 1925, in San Antonio, Texas to David and Victoria (Cruz) Casillas. She married Juan Francisco Valadez on September 23, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas. Juan passed away on January 7, 2007. Victoria enjoyed drawing, embroidery, carpentry, gardening, and cooking. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Hart, Texas.

Victoria is survived by five sons, David Valadez,  Bobby Valadez, and Daniel Valadez all of Des Moines, Iowa, Steven Valadez of Oklahoma City, OK, and Rudy Valadez of Plainview; five daughters, Aurora Muniz of Yale, Iowa, Linda (Micheal) DeNovo of Largo, Florida, Diana Mendoza  and Norma Valadez both of Des Moines, Iowa, and Christina (Henry) Gonzalez of Hart; one brother, Macario Casillas of San Antonio; two sisters, Estella Aguirre of New Braunfels and Lydia Salazar of San Antonio; fifty two grandchildren, ninety two great grandchildren and sixteen great, great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Gloria Montelongo; one son, Juan Valadez, Jr.; four brothers, Nicholas, Robert, David, and Ricardo Casillas and three sisters, Maggie Valdez, Theresa Guzman, and Antonia Gonzales.
