Victor Gonzales, 54, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at New Creation in Christ Church, 16 ^th & Independence.  Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery.

There will be a prayer service held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26 at the Church.

Victor was born on June 6, 1962 in Lockney, Texas to Ventura and Maria (Gomez) Gonzales. He attended Lockney High School. On February 14, 1991, he married Ernestina Arebalo. She was the love of his life.

Victor was a hard worker. He especially loved working beside his wife in whatever venture they were involved. He enjoyed "cruising" with her and cherished having her by his side. Together they enjoyed listening to music and he played pool whenever he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two stepsons, Louis, Garcia, Jr. and Willie Garcia; one brother, Oscar Gonzales and one sister, Norma Gonzales.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Ernestina; stepsons, Raymond Garcia, John David Garcia, Ricky Garcia and Gilbert Garcia; stepdaughters, Rafacita Garcia, Maryann Vargas and Beatrice Saenz; three brothers, Ventura Gonzales, Jr., Paul Gonzales and Israel Gonzales; four sisters, Diana Gonzales, Irma Gonzales, Nora Gonzales and Ida Gonzales, all of Lockney. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, and extended family who will miss him dearly and loved him so much.
