Valorie Christina Torres, 37 of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 o' clock in the afternoon on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely celebrating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Mrs. Torres will lie in repose from 12-8pm on Thursday with a Rosary being recited at 7 and from 8-12 on Friday morning. Funeral Mass will be for family members only. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Valorie was born July 5, 1983 in Lockney, Texas to Leticia and Armando Tinoco. She graduated from Plainview High School in 2001. Valorie married Angel Lee Torres on July 1, 2003. Valorie was a Pharmacy Technician at Amigo's Pharmacy for many years. Valorie was a hustler, always looking for any way to provide for her children. Val's raffles will be missed. She was a good daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She enjoyed cheering her girls on at their sports events and never met a stranger. Her contagious smile and laugh will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Leticia Tinoco; her grandparents: Valeriano and Victoriana Diaz; one uncle: Marco Antonio Diaz and one nephew: Jorge Luis Tinoco Jr.
She is survived by her three children: Makayla Isabella Torres, Chloe Elizabeth Torres, and Jordan King Torres; her father: Armando Tinoco; one brother: Jorge Luis Tinoco (Kimberly Duran); her in laws: David and Maria Bosquez; two aunts: Anna Lisa Diaz and Melba Herrera and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
***Sacred Heart Catholic Church is fully enforcing Covid 19 restrictions and unfortunately the number of attendees at the church will be extremely limited. Social distancing will be enforced and masks are required. Lemons Funeral Home is at 75% capacity and everyone over 10 years old is required to wear a mask. We ask the everyone respect these precautions for your safety and ours.***
