Trisha Witten Downey, 49 of Canyon, formerly of Plainview, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020. A Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 o'clock Monday, June 15, 2020 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Travis Bennett of Arena of Life Church in Amarillo, TX officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Trisha was born on September 18, 1970 in Plainview to Glenn and Patsy (Carriger) Witten. She graduated in 1988 from Evangel Christian Academy in Plainview. Trisha loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved animals and enjoyed cooking and baking.

Trisha is survived by one son, Michael Hurley of Hale Center; one daughter, Amber Hurley of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Lola Rae Quintanilla and Mila Jae Hurley; the father of her children, Matt Hurley of Hale Center and her former husband, Dean Downey of Amarillo. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jody Witten and one sister, Kathy Garrison.
