Trinidad Moreno Gallardo, age 84, of Plainview, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on April 2, 2024. Born in Robstown, Texas, on September 15, 1939, to Victoriano Gallardo and Gregoria Moreno, Trinidad was a cornerstone of his community and a beacon of faith and kindness.

In 1962, he married Maria Guadalupe Sepeda, and together they were blessed with seven children, five sons and two daughters. Trinidad was a dedicated field worker in Plainview, known for his strong work ethic.

A man who never met a stranger, Trinidad lived his faith through action, praying for everyone he knew and embodying kindness and generosity throughout his life.

Trinidad's life was a testament to his deep faith, often expressed through his love for Christian music. He sang and played guitar in a Christian music group, bringing joy and inspiration to many. He enjoyed watching old westerns and game shows. Trinidad and his wife, Maria, were passionate about baseball, especially the Texas Rangers, and cherished watching their grandchildren and great-grandchildren play.

Trinidad Gallardo was preceded in death by his parents, Victoriano and Gregoria Gallardo; his sons, Martin Gallardo, and Trinidad Gallardo, Jr.; his brothers, Victor, and Santos Gallardo; his sisters, Maria Luisa Cantu, and Agueda Gallardo.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Guadalupe Sepeda Gallardo; his children, Dora Gallardo Martinez, Samuel Gallardo, Daniel (Rebecca) Gallardo, Debra (Andy) Rodriguez, and Nick Gallardo; along with nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; his sisters, Angelina (Theodore) Flores, and Carolina (David) Perez.

Funeral Services for Mr. Gallardo will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Family will have a visitation at 2:00pm until 8:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 6:00pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.
