Trinidad Pardo Jr., 53, of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at University Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center with Father John Smith officiating. Interment will follow the service in Hale Center Cemetery. The funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the funeral home.
Trinidad Ruiz Pardo Jr. was born on September 13, 1960 in Plainview, Texas to Trinidad Pardo Sr. and Mary (Flores) Pardo, and graduated from Hale Center High School. Trinidad greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Texas Tech fan, an avid Nascar Race fan, and an outdoorsman who loved to fish. His favorite times were trips with his family to Tech games, races, and going fishing. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Trinidad is survived by his wife, Sara Guzman of Lubbock; his parents, Trinidad and Mary Pardo of Hale Center; his children: Brandy Pardo and Christopher Pardo, both of Louisiana, Juan B. Guzman and Eric Perez, both of Lubbock, and Nikki Perez of Plainview; his siblings: Olivia Pardo of Dallas; Johnny Pardo of Amarillo; Ernest Pardo of Ballenger, Texas; David Pardo of Hale Center; James Pardo of Dallas; and Linda Pardo of Hale Center; Michael Pardo Sr. and 12 grandchildren.
