Toribio "El Toro" Sanchez, 64 of Floydada, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his residence. Viewing for Mr. Sanchez will be at Lemons Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 4:00pm until 8:00pm, with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview. Burial will follow in Floydada Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Toribio was born in Santa Adelaida, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Ricardo Sanchez-Vaquera and Mercedes Banda-Morales. He met the love of his life, Jeanette Trevino, in 1993 and married her on March 9, 1994.

Toribio worked on the farm for many years. He enjoyed drinking "cold ones" while spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved and adored. He loved to dance, especially to Renacimiento 74. He always wore a smile with grace and laughed with everyone; he could make friends with any stranger; always ready to lend a helping hand and give his shirt off his back to whomever needed it.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo Sanchez, and Mercedes Banda; two brothers, Felipe, and Ricardo Sanchez; and nephew, Roberto Sanchez.

Toribio is survived by his wife, Jeanette Trevino; one son, Christopher Trevino (Savannah); three daughters, Adrianna Sanchez, Erika Martinez (Angel), and Maria Sanchez (Aidan); his grandchildren, Marley, Brayden, Cayden, and Azaley Trevino, Andrea, Isabella, and Jon Martinez, Daleyza Galvan, and Josiah and Aaron Bustillos; three brothers, Rosalio, Trinidad, and Roberto Sanchez; five sisters, Margarita Aguilar, Martha Guajardo, Juanita Cantu, Alicia Martinez, and Maria De Los Santos.
