Thelma Faye was born March 22, 1935, to O.Z. and Faye Findley in Paducah, Texas. She was the first of three children, having two younger brothers, Charles, and Donnie. She moved to Plainview in 1998 and worked for the Women's Crisis Center. Shortly after she helped open Broadway Treasures and worked there until 2022. She attended the Church of Christ at Ninth and Columbia.

Thelma Faye was a faithful wife, a wonderful mother, an adoring grandmother, and a generous friend. She will be remembered for her strength and resilience and cherished for her unconditional love and commitment to her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Bryan in 1980, her son, Brad and his wife Karen, and two grandchildren, Donnie, and Kasey in 1988.
