Teresa Espinosa, 90,  of Hale Center, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o' clock in the evening on Monday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Teresa was born on October 15, 1927 in Rosebud County, Texas to Esteban and Carmen Mojica.  She was married to Felix Espinosa.  She loved cooking for her family and having them all together. No one could match Teresa with her cooking skills, especially her beans.   She enjoyed sewing and collecting towels.  She was a devoted Christian woman who prayed the rosary faithfully.  Theresa was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church of Hale Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Felix Espinosa; Her parents one daughter, Marylou Garcia; and six grandchildren.

Teresa was survived by thirteen children: Timotea Garcia, Julio Espinosa, Rosa Nava and husband Rene, Mary Jane Balderas and husband Joe, Ben Espinosa and wife Delia, Terry Zamora and husband Richard, Connie Plasencio and Adam, Felix Espinosa, Fidel Espinosa, Jesse Espinosa and wife Angelita, Lupe Bueno and husband Mike, Freddy Espinosa and wife Diana and Rachel Espinosa; fifty one grandchildren, one hundred and twenty seven great grandchildren, and thirty two great-great grandchildren.
