Suanna Kay Bagwell, 73, of Plainview, passed away on June 7, 2017.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 9th & Columbia Church of Christ with Jim Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Lemons Funeral Home.

Suanna was born August 21, 1943 in Lubbock to Junior Leamon and Naomi Ruth (Houston) Reed. She was raised in Plainview and was a 1961 graduate of Plainview High School. On December 18, 1964, she married the love of her life, Stephen Eugene Bagwell in Clovis, New Mexico. They shared a deep love and friendship for 34 years until he preceded her in death in 1998. Suanna was known as a steadfast, strong, classy woman. She was a conservative woman who loved Fox News and the Golf Channel. Suanna loved to sew but her passion was a game of golf. Throughout her life, she maintained a deep personal relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her many friends. Her unwavering love for family and God will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Stephen Bagwell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Suzette Gagne and husband Chris of Palmdale, CA; her son, Stephen Bagwell and wife Monica of Chino, CA; her brother, Thomas William Reed and wife Mary Alice of Chino, CA; 7 grandchildren, Justin, Bradley, Darren, and Shawn Gagne and Tyler, McKenna and Devyn Bagwell. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
