Sipriano Gutierrez Jr., 44 of Plainview, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2021. Funeral Service for Mr. Gutierrez will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with interment following at Plainview Memorial Park.  A Prayer Service will be held from 6:00PM till 8:00PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Sipriano was born on April 20, 1977, in Raymondville, Texas to Sipriano and Anita (Ortiz) Gutierrez Sr. He was a graduate of Hale Center High School. He worked in the agriculture field as well as being a handyman. Sipriano married Dora Ortegon on August 14, 2011. He enjoyed fishing, cookouts with his family, and loved his cats. He was the pastor of Jesus Cornerstone Ministries Church.

Sipriano is survived by his wife: Dora Gutierrez of Plainview; his father: Sipriano Gutierrez Sr. of Hale Center; five sons: Adrian Zapata (Monica) of Lubbock, Aaron Zapata, Lorenzo Banda (Mariza), Andrew Banda (Chantel) and Isac Gutierrez all of Plainview; two daughters: Aundrea Gonzales (David) and Tiffany Banda of Plainview; a sister: Julie Gutierrez of Houston; and 15 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother.
