Severiana Guerrero, 84 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at her residence. A viewing will be held at 2:00pm until 8:00pm with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm, Monday, April 8, 2024, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Severiana was born on November 15, 1939, in Banderas, Chihuahua, Mexico to Librardo and Luciana (Marmolejo) Luevano. She married Efren Guerrero on January 22, 1955, in San Ignacio, Mexico.

Severiana enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking, and sewing. All her grandkids had special quilts made by her. She enjoyed working in the yard and loved her flowers, especially her rose bushes. She was always whistling and would talk to animals and flowers as if they were human.

She is survived by her husband, Efren Guerrero, Sr. of Plainview; two sons, Felipe and Martha Guerrero of Hart and Efren and Evon Guerrero of Plainview; two daughters, Antonia Cadena and Felipe Acosta of Roswell, N.M. and Ines Franco and Richard Womack of Fort Worth; ten grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Librardo and Luciana Luevano; four brothers, Jose, Margarito, Dolores, and Antonio Luevano; and two sisters, Lorenza Hernandez, and Juana Lara.

Severiana Guerrero, de 84 años, de Plainview, falleció el Sábado 6 de Abril de 2024 en su residencia. Se llevará una velación a las 2:00 p.m. hasta las 8:00 p.m. con un-Santo Rosario que se rezará a las 6:00 p.m., el Lunes 8 de Abril de 2024, en  Lemons Memorial Chapel. La Misa de Entierro Cristiano será a las 11:00 a.m. el Martes 9 de Abril de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica del Sagrado Corazón. El entierro se realizará en el Plainview Cemetery. Los arreglos funerarios están bajo el cuidado de Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Severiana nació el 15 de Noviembre de 1939 en Banderas, Chihuahua, México, hija de Librardo y Luciana (Marmolejo) Luévano. Se casó con Efrén Guerrero el 22 de Enero de 1955 en San Ignacio, México.

A Severiana le gustaba cantar, bailar, cocinar y coser. Todos sus nietos tenían edredones especiales hechos por ella. Le gustaba trabajar en el jardín y le encantaban sus flores, especialmente sus rosales. Siempre estaba silbando y hablaba con los animales y las flores como si fueran humanos.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Efrén Guerrero, Sr. de Plainview; dos hijos, Felipe y Martha Guerrero de Hart y Efrén y Evon Guerrero de Plainview; dos hijas, Antonia Cadena y Felipe Acosta de Roswell, N.M. y Inés Franco y Richard Womack de Fort Worth; diez nietos; veintisiete bisnietos; y doce tataranietos.

Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, Librardo y Luciana Luévano; cuatro hermanos, José, Margarito, Dolores y Antonio Luévano; y dos hermanas, Lorenza Hernández y Juana Lara.
