Sarah Lynn Esquivel, 36 of Plainview, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, in Lubbock. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Alfa y Omega Iglesia Bautista in Plainview with Pastor Tony Morin of Freedom Baptist Church, Lubbock, Texas. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Sarah was born, August 6, 1986, in Plainview, Texas to Jose Reynaldo Esquivel, Jr. and Raquel Hinojosa. She attended schools in Garden City, Kansas, and in Plainview. She enjoyed gardening, coloring, listening to music, reading, and spending time with her children.

Sarah is survived by her parents: Jose Reynaldo Esquivel, Jr., and Raquel Hinojosa of Plainview; grandparents: Jose Reynaldo Esquivel, Sr., of Andrews and Eloise Hinojosa of Plainview; her son, Cruzito Sanchez, and her daughter Natalie Sanchez both of Hale Center; two brothers: Elias and Rosa Esquivel of Garden City, Kansas, and Daniel and JoAnn Esquivel of Plainview, and one sister, Rebecca Esquivel of Plainview.

Sarah is preceded, in death, by her maternal grandfather, Rev. Benito Hinojosa; paternal grandmother, Guadalupe Esquivel, and her aunt, Leticia Ramos Hinojosa.
