Santos Perez, 78 of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Elder Ricky Moralez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Santos Perez was born on September 3, 1943, in Coleman, Texas to Eduardo and Maria (de la Luz Ruiz) Perez.

Santos worked in Maintenance for Walmart, and he was a hard worker. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching them play, more than that he enjoyed watching the grandchildren play ball.

Santos is survived by two sons, Angel Perez of San Antonio, Texas and Ricky Perez of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Maria Louisa Flores and husband Tomas, and Sanida Fierro and husband Rigo all of Plainview; one sister, Margaret Gonzales of Greeley, Colorado; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Santos is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Maria Perez and one son, Alonzo Perez.
