San Juanita Hinojosa, 65 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  Funeral Mass for Mrs. Hinojosa will be at 10:00AM, Monday, October 18, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview with Father George Poonely as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery.  A Rosary will be recited at 6:00PM, Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

San Juanita was born on April 29, 1956, in Mathis, Texas to Jesus and Estella (Rodriguez) Quintana. She was a school bus aide and enjoyed watching novelas, dancing, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Rafael Hinojosa of Plainview; three sons, Michael (Melissa) Hernandez, Erick (Jan) Espinosa, and Jessie Lee (Lisa) Espinosa all of Plainview; four daughters, Criselda (Ricky) Casarez of Lubbock, Anais (Fabian) Araujo, Shayla Espinosa and Carine Espinosa all of Plainview; one brother, Jesus Quintana, Jr. of Alamo, TX; two sisters, Teresa Munoz of Pasadena, TX and Margarita Sanchez of Plainview; twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
