Plainview-Samuel Galvan, 44 of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral Mass will be recited at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church; with Father Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral service arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.on Monday, April 7, 2014 in Lemons Memorial Chapel.
Samuel was born on March 6, 1970 in Hale Center, TX to Raul and Rosalinda Galvan. He was a great fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Mets, but was an avid fan of any sport. Samuel was a terrific uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Samuel is preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Richard Lee. Those left to survive him are his mother; Rosalinda Vera, three sisters; Liza Dominguez, Rebecca Cerda, and Miranda Molina; one brother Joe Galvan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
