Samuel Baca, 62 of Hale Center, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Funeral Mass for Mr. Baca will be at 1:00pm, Thursday, November 17, 2022, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hale Center with Father Jeremy Trull officiating. Burial will follow in Hale Center Cemetery. Viewing will be at 3:00pm, Wednesday, November 16, 2022 followed by the reciting of the Holy Rosary at 6:00pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Samuel was born on October 28, 1960, to Patrick Baca, Sr. and Sophia Castillo in Plainview, Texas. He loved cruising and listening to music, dancing, spending time with his kids, his family, and his dog, Baxter. Everyone who knew Samuel knew that he would give his shirt off his back if someone needed it, and knew that if something needed to be done, he was going to do it. Samuel was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and was known for having a big heart and loving everyone. His favorite words were, "I Love Y'all."

Samuel is preceded in death by his father, Patrick Baca, Sr.

Samuel is survived by his mother, Sophia Castillo; three sons: Jeremiah Baca and Samuel Louis Baca, both of Hale Center and Kaleb Little of Spring, Texas; three brothers: Patrick Baca, Jr. and wife, Norma, Freddy Baca and wife, Blanca, and Louis Baca and wife Lupe; two sisters, Alice Guzman and husband Pete and Sandy Zuniga and husband, Mario, all of Hale Center; and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
