Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Ron Bronson officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

David was born January 10, 1981 in Hale Center, Texas to Salvador and Rosalinda (Martinez) Arteaga. David was raised for most of his life in California and had been living in Oroville. He loved dogs and enjoyed riding horses.

David was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lilia Martinez.

Survivors include his parents, Salvador and Rosalinda Arteaga; grandfather, Charles Martinez; two brothers, Nathan Arteaga and Jonathan Arteaga. He is also survived by six sisters, Teresa Arteaga, Charity Kulesza, Valarie Arteaga, Priscilla Arteaga, Abigail Arteaga and Rebecca Arteaga.
