Salvador Arteaga, 68 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Trinity Life Church in Plainview with Pastor Steve Martinez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. A Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Salvador was born on October 26, 1952, in Plainview to Reyes and Maria DeJesus (Salas) Arteaga. He married Rosalinda Martinez on August 18, 1969. Salvador was a mechanic and enjoyed teaching others how to fix up cars. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Salvador loved to spend time with his grand-kids and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters: Leonor Arteaga, Nicholasa Gallardo, Piedad Ferrer.

Salvador is survived by his wife Rosalinda; two sons: Nathan Arteaga (Veronica), and Jonathan Arteaga (Kathie) of Canyon; six daughters: Charity Kulesza (Marioz) of Brownsville, Priscilla Garcia (Harvert) of Stockton, CA, and Abigail Arteaga, Rebecca Arteaga, Teresa Arteaga and Valeria Gutierrez all of Plainview; one brother: Santos Arteaga of Dallas; five sisters: Juana Solis of Louisiana, Estela Escobar of Las Vegas, NV, Felipa Perdomo of Miami, FL, Alicia Perez and Soccoro Ramos both of Plainview; 27 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
