A beautiful light that left us too soon but only to be with the Lord and his beloved Papaw. Saje Mikhail Martinez was born on December 1, 1993, in Plainview, Texas to Priscilla Navarro and Ronnie Martinez, passed away at the age of 31, on January 19, 2025, in Plainview, Texas. A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 and Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Lemons Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ with Evan Weiss officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Saje was a loving son, father, brother, and family member. He loved the Lord and gave his life completely to Christ. Everyone that knew him loved him. He was the life of the party, and he never failed at having the whole room laughing. He was a big dreamer with a free spirit and an illuminating presence. He loved his children, his family, the Red Raiders, his rescue dog Toast, and fishing the beautiful lakes of Minnesota and Ohio, a hobby he learned from his Papaw Freddy. A jack of all trades, he was musically and academically intelligent. He performed as a dancer for Ace Wonder, a group made up of lifelong friends.

If you knew Saje, you were lucky beyond the moon. His infectious smile and a heart of gold will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish Saje's memory are his parents: Priscilla (Phillip) Navarro of Plainview, Texas, and Ronnie (Missy) Martinez of Lamesa, Texas; his four children: Jax Cruz, Zayne Cruz, Mikhail Elijah Martinez, and Marilyn Cramer; four sisters: Thyme (Daniel) Ybarra of Plainview, Texas, Vegas Navarro of Plainview, Texas, Brittany Hopper (Ricky) of Lockney, Texas, and Randi Martinez of San Angelo, Texas; one brother, Joseph Mangus Navarro of Plainview, Texas; maternal grandmother, Trinidad Sonia (Robert) Perez; paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Martinez both of Plainview, Texas; maternal great grandfather, Miguel Zapata; one paternal aunt, Connie (Eddie) Jimenez; two maternal uncles, Edward (Cynthia) Zapata and Frederico Jr. (Annabell) Zapata; one aunt, Jennifer (Froylan) Diaz all of Plainview; and his great aunt and uncle Rebecca and Rudy Mendoza; thirteen cousins, many friends, and loved ones.

Saje is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frederico Zapata, great grandmother, Margarita Sepeda, great grandparents, Jose and Trinidad Perez, Jose and Ruth Trevino, and Elmo Martinez Sr. and Juanita Martinez.
