Rutilo Raigoza Lopez, 77 of Plainview, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Per Mr. Lopez's request, there will be no services. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Rutilo was born on June 4, 1945, in Mexico to Abigail Henrriqez Raigoza and Genoveva Lopez. He married Maria Del Carmen Botello, December 2010 in Plainview. She passed away on April 19, 2016.
Rutilo worked at Cargill for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a mechanic and a handyman who loved building things and could converse with anyone about anything.

He is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Raygoza of Plainview; four stepsons: Ramiro and Abilia Gomez of Colorado, Manuel and Margarita Gomez of Lubbock, Francisco and Maria Gomez of San Antonio, and Tomas Gomez of Plainview; one brother, Benjamin Raigoza of Odessa; one sister, Antonia Guzman of Odessa; seventeen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Rutilo is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Del Carmen Raigoza; one grandson, Rey Reyes, and his parents, Abigail and Genoveva Raigoza.
