Rudy Alvarado, 59 of Hale Center, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Church of God of the First Born in Hale Center, Texas, with Pastor Paul Alvarado officiating. Interment will follow in Hale Center Cemetery. A Visitation will be held from 6:00PM till 8:00PM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Rudy was born on August 2, 1962, in Lubbock, Texas to Ezequiel and Anna (Lopez) Alvarado. He was a truck driver and enjoyed Peterbilt trucks, Harley Davidson motorcycles, fast cars, guns, music and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Church of God of the Firstborn in Hale Center.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Linda Alvarado of Hale Center; three sons, Rudy (Angelina) Alvarado of Plainview, Alvin (Veronica) Alvarado and Adolfo (Eleni) Alvarado both of Hale Center; three daughters, Ermelinda Alvarado (Daniel Salinas) of Hale Center, Karen Alvarado (Antonio Whitehead) of DeSoto, Texas and Sandi Alvarado of Hale Center; six brothers, Paul, Tony, Daniel, Noe, Ruben and Jay Alvarado; two sisters, Julie and Olga Alvarado and twenty-three grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by one son, Rudy Alvarado, Jr.; a granddaughter, Tanya Martin; his parents and two brothers, Trinidad and Sesario Alvarado
