Ruby Nell Adams, 72 of Plainview, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. A visitation will be held, Monday, March 10, 2025, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The family will be present for those that would like to visit with them. A funeral service for Ms. Adams will be 10:00am, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral Services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Ruby Nell was born in Plainview, Texas on December 6, 1952, to William Virgil Adams and Ruby Lee Moffett Adams. She graduated from Plainview High School and after graduating attended Texas Tech University for two years. She then began her thirty-year journey as an insurance salesperson.

Ruby Nell is preceded in death by her parents, William, and Ruby Adams, three brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by her brother, Gordon Adams and wife, Dimple of Lockney, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her long-time friend, San Juana Gomez.

Ruby Nell will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

As John 14:1-3 says: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
