Services will be Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Impacto Con Dios Methodist Church in Plainview located at Date and 4th Street. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Rosa was born December 3, 1956 in Lamesa Texas to Maria Corpus. She attended Plainview High School. She married Abel Ocegueda on September 1, 1995 in Tulia, Texas. She worked at Central Plains MHMR for 17 years. She and her husband attended Impacto Con Dios Methodist Church in Plainview.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria; one grandson, Bryan Sebastian Pulido.

Rosa is survived by her husband, Abel; 3 sons, Robert Pulido, Jr. and wife Audrey, Bryan Pulido, all of Plainview, and Jason Pulido, of Denver, CO; 3 daughters, Brenda Pulido Magallan and husband, Cornelius; Leonela Almanza-Arenas and husband Miguel and Nancy Almanza and adopted daughter, Crystal Cordero, all of Plainview; 1 brother, Jose Luis Mendez and wife Jelasia of Plainview; 3 sisters, Sylvia Garza Barboza and husband Marcelo of Santa Fe, NM, Maria Gutierrez and husband Salomon of Edinburg and Norica Espinosa of Odessa; 23 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and her father, Antonio Mendez, Jr. of Plainview.
