Ronnie Harmon, 68 of Plainview, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, in Lubbock. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home Plainview.

Ronnie was born on November 18, 1955, in Lockney, Texas to Haskell and Fay (Dudley) Harmon. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1973. Ronnie married Machelle Owen on April 16, 2011, in Laughlin, Nevada.

Ronnie was a Master Electrician and did a lot of electrical work around town. He enjoyed watching football, baseball, and playing softball. He was a Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed going out to eat, especially to Chili's to watch sports. He was a good cook and loved to BBQ and spend time with his family.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Machelle Harmon of Plainview; two sons, Zach Harmon (Anna) of Plainview and Dakota Carden of Lubbock; three daughters, Rhiannon Casteneda, Kelsey Wall (Aaron), and Hannah Stanford all of Plainview; one sister, Norma Blundell (Darrin) of New Zealand; seven grandchildren, Korben and Kylee Harmon, Orion and Paige Casteneda, and Jonci, Bo, and Stone Wall; and a great grandchild, Aledris Lara.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
