Robert Ojeda, 66 of Lubbock, formerly of Plainview, passed away on September 16, 2022. Funeral Mass for Mr. Ojeda will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm until 6:00pm, when the Holy Rosary will be recited, on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Robert was born May 18, 1956, in San Angelo, Texas to Jose Matilde Torres Ojeda and Augustina Hernandez, He married Romana Reyna, September 22, 1973. She passed away May 24, 2002.

Robert enjoyed listening to music, watching game shows, especially Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. He also liked to do crossword puzzles and sit outside.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Augustina "Tina" Hurtado of Lubbock; one brother, Clemente Martinez, Jr. of Thrall, Texas; two sisters: Corina Ramirez of Tyler, Texas, and Matilda Ojeda of Florida; seven grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Romana Reyna Ojeda, both his parents, Jose and Agustina Ojeda; one son, Robert Ojeda, Jr.; one grandchild, Josiah Jeramichael Ramos; five brothers: Mayo Herrera and Jesus "Jesse", Arnulfo, Juan, and Jose Ojeda;  and one sister, Alicia Ojeda.
