Ricky Meals, age 66 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Viewing/Visitation for Mr. Meals will be at 2:00pm until 5:00pm, Friday, July 5, 2024, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Ricky was born to Charles and Annie Meals, November 23, 1957, in Petersburg, Texas. He attended Plainview Schools.

Ricky loved working on cars, and he could fix anything.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Annie Meals; his brothers, Mitchell Meals, Alonzo Meals, and Charles "Honey" Meals.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Kendrick Deon Meals; his two grandchildren; one sister, Diann White-Pitts of Plainview, Texas; five brothers, Lester Joe Meals of Lawton, OK, Ronny Mack Meals of Plainview, Texas, Dewey Wayne Meals of Tulia, Texas, Donald Luis Meals of Plainview, Texas, and Julius Lee Meals of Oklahoma City, OK; special nephew, Khaz Heads of Plainview, Texas; special friend, Deneen Flores of Plainview, Texas; special friend, "other mother," Laverne Shannon of Kress, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
