Ricardo Gomez, 49 of Plainview, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Ricardo was born on February 6, 1972, in Taylor County, Texas to Jesse and Stella (Diaz) Gomez. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1990. He married Esther Salinas in Plainview on September 27, 2015. Ricardo liked cooking, baking, and watching WWE. He enjoyed his job as a truck driver, and on his down time walking his dog "Petey".

He is survived by his wife: Esther Gomez; his parents: Jesse and Stella Gomez; four sons: Harley Guajardo of Levelland, Rico Gomez, Rick Gomez, and Ronnie Gomez all of Plainview, one daughter: Rixicki Gomez of Plainview; four brothers: Darbin Dewitt of Alabama, Jason Gomez of Plainview, Jesse Gomez of Tyler, Texas, and JezBenob Gomez of Plainview; and 3 grandchildren.
