Reymundo "Rey" Pedroza, Jr., 46, of Tulia, passed away on August 24, 2017.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Rey was born October 30, 1970 in Weslaco, Texas to Reymundo Pedroza and Maria (Barbosa) Mejia. He married Elizabeth Hernandez. She preceded him in death in November 2007.

Rey was a hard worker. He was the groundskeeper at the Tule Lake Golf Course in Tulia. He took immense pride in his work and in "his greens" at the Golf Course. He always enjoyed strolling through Pawn Shops looking for treasures. Rey was a very handy auto mechanic and often purchased vehicles to repair and sell. His family fondly remembers his love of family and his great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth; and his step-father, Jose Mejia in May 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Maria Mejia of Plainview and his father, Reymundo Pedroza, Sr. of Devine, Texas; one daughter, Sabrina Pedroza; two brothers, Margarito Pedroza of Plainview and Manuel Pedroza and wife, Melissa of O'Donnell; three sisters, Rosaysela Pedroza from Devine, Texas, Cenaida Campos and husband Robert of Plainview and Elizabeth Pedroza of Amarillo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rey nació el 30 de octubre de 1970 en Weslaco, Texas a Reymundo Pedroza y María (Barbosa) Mejía. Se casó con Elizabeth Hernández. Ella lo precedió en la muerte en noviembre de 2007.

Rey era un buen trabajador. Él era el encargado del campo de Tule Lake Golf Course en Tulia. Él tomó un orgullo inmenso en su trabajo y en "sus verdes" en el campo de golf. Siempre disfrutaba paseando por las tiendas de empeño buscando tesoros. Rey era un mecánico de automóviles muy práctico ya menudo compraba vehículos para reparar y vender. Su familia recuerda con cariño su amor por la familia y su gran sentido del humor. Se le echará mucho de menos.

Fue precedido en muerte por su esposa Elizabeth; Y su padrastro, José Mejía en mayo de 2017.

Quedan para acariciar su memoria su madre, María Mejía de Plainview y su padre, Reymundo Pedroza, Sr. de Devine, Texas; una hija, Sabrina Pedroza; dos hermanos, Margarito Pedroza de Plainview y Manuel Pedroza y esposa, Melissa de O'Donnell; tres hermanas, Rosaysela Pedroza de Devine, Texas, Cenaida Campos y su esposo Robert de Plainview y Elizabeth Pedroza de Amarillo. También le sobreviven numerosos sobrinos.
