Rene Nava, 74, passed away on September 8, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Rene was born on May 2, 1947 in Hidalgo County, Texas to Isedro and Amalia (Cuevas) Nava. He enjoyed music, dancing, semi-trucks, yardwork or any thing to do with the outdoors. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center.

Rene is survived by his wife, Rosie Nava of Plainview; four brothers, Raul, Roberto, Ramiro and Roy Nava; two sisters, Rachel Quintanilla and Rebecca Garza ad several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosalva Garcia.
