Obituary
Recie Bigham, 77 of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o' clock in the afternoon on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ted Wilson officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Recie was born on July 24, 1940 to Marion Carrol and Florence Odessa Bell in Hart, TX. Recie married Jim Bigham on April 4, 1973 in Plainview. She was a devoted homemaker who loved to travel, her family and home canning. She was a woman of God and was a member of Lubbock Methodist Church. Recie will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Jim; her parents; and one brother: Earnest Bell.
Recie is survived by one son: Douglas Bigham of Lubbock; one daughter: Melissa "Missy" Pierce of York, PA; one brother: Roy Lee "R.L." Copeland of New Braunfels; and one sister: Barbara Garwood of Lubbock and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggest memorials be to the Wounded Warrior Project, Attn: Advance Guard, PO BOX 758518, Topeka, KS 66675-8518 or the American Cancer Society, PO BOX 42040 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
