Plainview - Rebecca Sterling, age 68, passed away on January 24, 2025 at her home in Plainview. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Becky was born in Plainview, Texas to Esteban C. Gutierrez and Guadalupe Loredo Gutierrez. In July of 1995, she married Raymond Sterling in Plainview, Texas.

Becky's favorite color was purple and was a very spiritual woman. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, and joking around with her kids. She loved her pets, and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Manuel Rodriguez, three grandsons, Jordan Rodriguez, Jacob and David Arredondo, one great-grandson, Luciano Rodriguez, her parents, Esteban and Guadalupe Gutierrez, two brothers, Daniel Hernandez, and Arthur Loredo, one sister, Delia Gutierrez.

Becky is survived by her husband, Raymond Sterling; three sons, Mark Anthony Rodriguez (Monica), Jose Antonio Rodriguez, and Jeffrey Allan Rodriguez; one daughter, Mary Ann Caudillo; four brothers, Esteban Gutierrez, David Gutierrez, Danny Gutierrez, and David Gutierrez, Jr, (Cynthia); three sisters, Raquel Gilliam, Bertha Gutierrez, and Ann Margaret Aguirre; nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
