Ray Doyle Ramsey, 90 of Plainview, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home. Doyle was born on October 14, 1929 in Quitaque, Texas to A.B. and Willie (Cable) Ramsey. He attended schools in Quitaque and then joined the US Army and served during the Korean war. He married Wanda King on January 23, 1951 in Clovis, N.M. Doyle was a salesman at Johnston Motors in Plainview for 36 years. He loved to fish and hunt and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Ramsey is survived by his wife, Wanda of Plainview and one son, Darrell Ramsey of Lubbock. He is preceded in death by one son, Don Ramsey and thirteen brothers and sisters.
