Raul Pequeno Ybarra Jr., age 75, of Plainview, passed away on May 17, 2018. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00A.M., May 24, 2018 at The Potter's House Church in Plainview with Jerry Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.
Raul was born on October 20, 1942 to Raul Galvan Ybarra Sr. and Felipa (Pequeno) Ybarra in Slaton, Texas. Raul had his CDL and worked in the transportation industry doing long hauls as a truck driver. He loved to fish and to watch his grandchildren play baseball.
He was a member of The Potter's House Church in Plainview.
Raul is survived by his daughter, Judy Gomez and husband Frank of Lubbock, four grandchildren, Elizabeth Rose Sabolboro and husband Jason, Drue Anthony Gomez, Kepha Alexander Gomez, LilyAnna Anina Gomez, two great grandchildren, Jennavecia Benavidez and Kaia Sabolboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Pete Ybarra and Joe Ybarra.
