Funeral Mass for Raul Bega Maldonado, 80 of Plainview Texas will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview, Texas, with Father Reymundo Manriquez officiating, burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A rosary service will be held Wednesday February 26, 2014 from 6-7 P.M. at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel, all services under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home, Plainview, Texas. Mr. Maldonado passed away on February 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 8, 1933 in Tarimoro, Mexico to the late Juan and Casimira Maldonado. He married Manuela (Tarin) on March 7, 1956 in Imperial, TX. Mr. Maldonado was a Cursillista since 1969. He was also a Rollista (en el moviento de Cursillo). He was active with the Adoracion de Nocturna for 40 years. Farming was his occupation. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. Mr. Maldonado is survived by his wife, three sons; Jessie, Raul Jr., and Carlos, as well as two daughters; Diana Magana, and Josie Garcia. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
