Plainview-Randy Case, 56, of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, in Lubbock. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview with Chaplain Oscar Chavez officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Memorial Park. Cremation service arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.
Randall Knox Case was born on July 16, 1957 in Plainview to Claudie Ray 'Casey' and Billie Jo 'Jodie' Case. He grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1975. Randy was an extremely dedicated and hard working man. He was a rural mail carrier for over 35 years, but farming was his passion. He spent many nights working late on his farm. Randy was generous, and compassionate with a heart for others. His children describe him as a great dad who loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Randy was a member of First Christian Church.
Randy is survived by his father, Casey Case, of Plainview; his daughter: Jennifer Case and Blake Vera, of Lubbock; his son, Dylan Knox Case of Waco, Texas; his brother, Rick Case and his wife, Jeri, of Garland, Texas; his sister, Debbie Buchanan and her husband, Jeff, of Benecia, California; his aunt, Christine Vinson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and Brenda Davis, the mother of his children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jodie Case.
