Ramona "Moncy" Diaz Bueno, 75 of Plainview, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020.  A family visitation will take place on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Romana was born on September 29, 1944 to Emilio and Trinidad Diaz in Miles, TX. She had been in the community since 1946.  Ramona enjoyed painting, listening to music and dancing and playing cards.  She also made beautiful floral arrangements.  Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and was a Guadalupana.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Connie Vaquera and Sarah Martinez; three brothers: Tomas, Bobby and Nieves Diaz; and one daughter: Nilda Mae Perez.

Moncy is survived by one son: Gilbert Hernandez Jr of Plainview; two daughters: Marilou D. Hernandez (Francisco Saucedo) of Sioux Falls, SD and Cynthia Basaldua (Tony Griego) of Plainview; grandchildren: Michael Jay, Rafeal Jr, Vanessa and Janessa; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
