Rachel Gutierrez, 63 of Plainview, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Family will have visitation at 11:00AM to 7:00PM Wednesday, January 12, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with a Rosary beginning at 7:00PM. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Rachel was born on December 29, 1958, to Adan and Isabel (Ozuna) Rojas in Edinburg, Texas. She moved to Plainview in the early 1960's and attended Plainview High School. She married Esteban Gutierrez, Jr. on March 17, 2000. Rachel was a restaurant manager and enjoyed watching football, listening to Ramon Ayala, and having family night with her kids and husband.

Rachel is survived by her husband: Esteban Gutierrez, Jr.; her father: Adan Rojas of Kress; two sons: Adrian (Veronica) Hernandez and Johnny (Isaac) Llamas of Plainview; three daughters: Isabel (Joe) Charles of Lubbock, Angela (David) Flores and Marivel (Johnathon) Castillo all of Plainview; two brothers: Adan Rojas Jr. of Kress and Daniel (Maria) Rojas of Plainview; two sisters: Irma Rojas of Lubbock, and Mary (Jimmy) Rojas of Borger; 20 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
