Perfecto Moralez, 83 of Petersburg, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, in Lubbock. Visitation for Mr. Moralez will be at Lemons Memorial Chapel from 11:00am-1:00pm, followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00pm in Lockney Cemetery on December 23, 2022.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Perfecto was born on April 18, 1939, in Robstown, Texas to Ynocencio and Manuela (Fuentes) Moralez. He loved farming and farmed his whole life. He also loved animals and enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and anything to do with the outdoors. Perfecto was a family man, who helped raise several grandchildren, and he loved spending time with his family.

Perfecto is survived by three sons, Pedro Moralez of Midlothian, TX, Daniel Moralez of Petersburg, TX, and Juan Martin and Samantha Moralez of Plainview; one daughter, Patricia and Jose Salinas of Decatur, TX; one brother, Alesandro Moralez of Edinburg, TX; twenty-two grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Tamayo Moralez; stepdaughter, Irene Hernandez; and his parents.
