Pedro Carrion Morales, 79, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church in Petersburg with Prisciliano Alvarez officiating.  Interment will follow at the Petersburg Cemetery.

There will be a prayer service held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night at the church.

Pedro was born on June 3, 1937 in Rosebud, Texas to Felipe Castillo Morales and Amelia Carreon Morales.  Having worked as a farmer for all of his adult life, Pedro knew the value of hard work.  He lived and farmed in the Petersburg area for many years.  He treasured his many friends and family.  His family rejoices that in recent days, he asked Christ to come into his life and be his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Cleta Mendoza, Delfina Caballero and Francisca Cedillo and 2 brothers, Jessie Morales and Frank Morales.

Those left to cherish his memory are one sister, Juanita Hernandez of Temple and many nieces and nephews.
