Patsy Sanchez, 44, formerly of Lockney, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013, in Denver, Colorado. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Lockney. Interment will follow the service in Lockney Cemetery. Rev. Felix Silva will officiate. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the funeral home.
Patsy was born on December 20, 1968 in Dumas, Texas to Frank and Adelaida (Luna) Sanchez. She was a very loving sister and an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Patsy loved listening to her uncles play the guitar and the accordion. She had lived in Colorado Springs for awhile and enjoyed attending the Catholic Church there. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lockney. Patsy will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Patsy is survived by her mother, Adelaida Sanchez; her daughters: Alysha McDonald and Santana McDonald; her brothers: Frank Sanchez Jr. and Pedro Hernandez; her sisters: Sylvia Salazar, Maria Sinsley, Belen Cienfuegos, Carol Constantine, Connie Calderon, and Adelaida Hernandez; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers: Jesse Aguirre and Hinacio "Nacho" Contreras.
