Paul Tijerina, 53, of Plainview passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. He was born on March 14, 1960 in San Antonio, TX. Paul attended Plainview High School, until he enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country overseas in Germany. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents; Eulojio and Maria Tijerina. Paul is survived by his father Pablo Tijerina; one Brother, Robert Tijerina; and two Sisters; Yolanda Ovalle, and Diana Hernandez. He is also survived by niece; Jacqueline Esquivel; Nephews; Jacob, James, Jeremy Jimenez, and Matthew Ovalle. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and also a special friend, Jessica Mercado.
