Pablo Aguirre, 65 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.
Pablo was born November 7, 1959, in Ojo de Agua, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Ignacio Aguirre and Rosario Loya Aguirre. He married Dominga Arredondo on August 19, 1983, in Plainview, Texas. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview.
Pablo, a God-fearing man, was passionate about helping people, especially those that struggled with addiction, so he became a Drug and Alcohol counselor because he wanted to see people become a better version of themselves. He had many friends and was a people person.
Pablo was a hard worker and a handyman, who enjoyed buying and selling backyard treasures and drinking coffee. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dominga Aguirre of Plainview, TX; two sons, Paul Aguirre of Brownfield, TX and Robert Perales of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Sasha Martinez of Amarillo, TX, Brenda Perales Rodriguez Motino and husband, Raul of Plainsboro, New Jersey, and Marisa Perales of San Antonio, TX; three brothers, Jose Aguirre of Lubbock, TX, Rafael Aguirre and Gustavo Aguirre, both of Mexico; three sisters, Elena Alicia Aguirre, Amanda Aguirre, and Rosaria Aguirre, all of Mexico; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pablo is preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Rosario Aguirre.
