Oralia Medrano, 72 of Plainview, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at her residence. The family of Ms. Medrano will have viewing from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Templo Sinai with Pastor Adam Soto officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Oralia Medrano was born in Charlotte, Texas to Natividad and Benecia (Hernandez) Medrano on February 17, 1951. She was a member of Templo Sinai in Plainview, Texas.

Oralia enjoyed spending time working in the garden and cleaning her yard. She did not know a stranger and you were always welcome in her home. She was selfless, funny, caring and she loved helping everyone. Family was everything to her. She enjoyed her time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory is her companion of over thirty years, Efran Garcia; her two sons: Jerry Gallardo and Joe Santos Gallardo and wife Daphne; her three daughters: Elizabeth Ramirez and husband Jesse, Graciela Maysonet and husband Moses, and Laura Gallardo; her two brothers: Gonzalo Medrano and Luis Medrano; her two sisters: Mary Jimenez, and Anita Lopez; her sixteen grandchildren and her twenty-one great grandchildren.

Oralia is preceded in death by her parents: Natividad and Benecia Medrano, her twin sister, Olga Medrano and two grandsons; Joe Carlo Gallardo and Joe Roman Gallardo.
